The Eternal Cow

Sometimes you have to make the best out of what you were given. In this randomized prompt exercise, I created a humorous yet horror-filled concept for a book.

I rolled a die to obtain the components of my story:

• Theme: Food

• Form/Media: Book cover

• Constraints: Monochrome + one accent color

• Tone: Horror

My novella is about a woman named Daisy who goes to her favorite diner for a cheeseburger.
However, this burger isn’t going down without a fight.

This book cover is designed as an ironic piece of food-themed psychological horror.
It utilizes both InDesign typography and photo manipulation.
